Rosie Reading Program
This year, we are starting a Rosie Reading Program--by reading Rosies, you can win prizes!
What are Rosie books? Each year, librarians and teachers throughout Indiana meet and choose their top 20+ fiction and nonfiction books for young adults. These books become the Rosies, named after the character Eliot Rosewater from one of Kurt Vonnegut's novels.
Since the Rosies are some of the most highly recommended current books for young adults, they make a great start for our reading program. The program is simple: choose a Rosie that interests you, read it completely, and pass a 10-question multiple choice quiz over its contents. Once you've passed the quiz, you get to pick a prize of your choice! The prizes are great--scented bookmarks, locker air fresheners, Chik-Fil-A coupons, cafeteria coupons, and much more!
And make sure you tell us which Rosies are your favorites! *Unwind by Neal Shusterman is Mrs. Reynolds' favorite!
Stop by soon to check out a Rosie book and win a prize!
